To learn how to play an instrument gives me a lot of happiness and it gives a very amazing feeling when the public applauds after every concert. Who wouldn't be happy with the applause?
Cello, Work Group
Many of our students who arrived in Sweden as asylum seekers in 2015 both study at the gymnasium and work in afternoon and night shifts at restaurants and others. They don’t have time to come to Dream Orchestra as often as they would like to. They meet and share time together on Monday evenings which has turned out to be a good moment. As the students themselves explain: “We are a family and the orchestra is the place where we can find a positive space to get away from our daily problems and pressures with our brothers and sisters of the orchestra”.
