Démos Europe Orchestra once again invited four Dream Orchestra students (Aurian, Klara, Tommy and Lisette) to celebrate with them, at the Palais de la musique et des congrès, in Strasbourg, Europe Day, this Monday, May 9.
This activity is carried out as part of the celebration of the French presidency of the Council of the European Union, where the students of Dream Orchestra will be representing Sweden together with young musicians from the 27 member states of the European Union.
The repertoire, which will be the same as they played in February, when they met for the first time in Paris, includes: excerpts from Pictures at an Exhibition, by Modeste Moussorgsky; extracts from Peer Gynt, by Edward Grieg, Ritmos Ciganos; Freedom, She Yells!, by Alexandros Markeas; and Symphony No. 9 – Ode to Joy, by Ludwig van Beethoven
The conductors of the concert will be Corinna Niemeyer and Aurélien Azan Zielinski. At 20:00, you can watch the broadcast of the concert through the Philharmonie Live.
