Seven hours of studies

The musical challenges increases for the members of the Dream Orchestra. The repertoire of this semester includes: “Hallelujah” by Händel; “The Firebird” by Stravinsky and “Farandole” by Bizet. To deepen these works, the students of the orchestra makes two marathons of workshops, sectionals and rehearsal created and directed by the teachers of the Dream Orchestra. Seven continuous hours of music and intensive learning that takes place on Sunday, September 23 and Sunday, October 21.

Dream Orchestra, formed in spring 2016 by Ron Davis Alvarez, Artistic Director of El Sistema in Sweden, wants to pay tribute to Maestro José Antonio Abreu, the creator of El Sistema in Venezuela. A role model for millions of musicians in the world. In his legacy there are thousands of choirs and orchestras today, of which Dream Orchestra is one. Dreams spread in Europe

Recently, three of Dream Orchestra’s members, Fatima, Mohsen and Asil participated in the tv-program “Today in a Year”. Here they told of their dream and goal: Within a year they would go from “zero to Sibelius”. As a beginner on their instruments, they had a year of practicing Andante Festivo by Sibelius with their teacher Ron Davis Alvarez.
