Maestro Ron Davis Alvarez, artistic director and founder of Dream Orchestra, participated in the cultural summit that took place in the city of Umeå, between May 16 and 17. As part of the celebration of 10 years of Umeå’s selection as the European Capital of Culture, experts on different projects in Sweden and representatives from other cultural capitals met to discuss the opportunities, challenges and urban development of the local and national life when you become a cultural capital.
Attendees at Umeå 2024 – Cultural Summit heard from the words of award-winning maestro Ron how Dream Orchestra has become, since its founding in 2016, in a non-profit organization that offers a safe space to its members with the aim of forming a better society through free access to music education.
