The arrival of June marks the end of the semester at Dream Orchestra, bringing with it an exciting musical agenda that will unfold across various stages in Västra Götaland, Sweden, and even abroad. In the coming weeks, the different branches of the orchestra will bring their music to Gothenburg, Alingsås, Lövgärdet, and Italy, showcasing the work developed during the first six months of the year.
Dream Orchestra Lövgärdet ends the semester with a concert at Rosa Huset
The first event in this concert series is the semester finale of Dream Orchestra Lövgärdet, which will take place on Wednesday 28th of May at 18:00 at Rosa Huset (Rosmaringatan 53). Children aged five and older will perform a special repertoire highlighting the progress made over the past months. Admission is for free.
Dream Orchestra joins Sinfonietta of Oscar Fredrik Gothenburg
On Saturday, May 31st at 15:00, Dream Orchestra will have the honor of sharing the stage with the Sinfonietta of Oscar Fredrik at Oscar Fredriks kyrka, Gothenburg. Conducted by Ron Davis Alvarez and Finn Rosengren, more than 100 musicians of all ages will perform works by Grieg, Hägg, Brahms, and others. Admission is also for free.
Dream Orchestra Alingsås celebrates the end of the semester with a concert at Palladium
On Sunday, June 1st at 15:30, students of Dream Orchestra Alingsås will perform their end-of-semester concert at Palladium (Nygatan 18). They will be joined by guest students from DO Gothenburg in a collaborative performance that highlights Dream Orchestra's spirit of unity.
Dream Orchestra Alingsås takes part in the “Drömmar/Mardrömmar” exhibition at Alingsås Library
On Wednesday, June 4 at 16:30, Dream Orchestra Alingsås will open the "Drömmar/Mardrömmar" (Dreams/Nightmares) exhibition with a musical performance at the library’s exhibition hall (Södra Ringgatan 3). This event will be an opportunity to connect visual art and music in a shared community space.
Dream Orchestra in Sweden's National Day celebration at Slottsskogen
As part of the Göteborgs Symfoniker’s annual National Day concert, a group of Dream Orchestra students will open the event on Friday, June 6 at 13:15 in Slottsskogen. This is one of the summer’s most iconic events in Gothenburg and a major stage for young musicians.
Dream Orchestra students travel to Italy for Trillargento’s 10th anniversary concert
From June 6 to 10, a group of Dream Orchestra students will travel to Italy to represent Sweden at the 10th anniversary concert of the Trillargento music program. This exchange is part of the orchestra’s international projects and reinforces the value of cross-cultural collaboration through music.
Dream Orchestra summer concert at Betlehemskyrkan
On Friday, June 13 at 17:30 at Betlehemskyrkan, Gothenburg, Dream Orchestra presents its Summer Concert featuring students from all DO’s venues. The program includes pieces like "Wellerman", "Preambule" by T. Slakva, "Sinfonia" by G.F. Telemann, "Viking" and "Gravitas" by S.H. Newbold, "Norwegian Dances" by E. Grieg, "Danzón No. 2" by A. Marquez and "Hungarian Dances" by J. Brahms. It will be a celebration of learning and diversity.
Participation in Side by Side by El Sistema 2025
From June 14 to 18, Dream Orchestra students and teachers will take part in the renowned Side by Side by El Sistema camp in Gothenburg, joining musicians from all over the world. This event is one of the most enriching experiences for the orchestra's young talents.
