Finally, the day has arrived! After two digital editions due to the pandemic, from June 18 to June 22, members of Dream Orchestra Lövgärdet, Alingsås and Gothenburg will participate in the 2022 edition of Side by Side By El Sistema.
With a schedule of musical and recreational activities, under the orchestral guidance of Ron Davis Alvarez, Marjolein Vermeeren, Emil Eliasson, Daniela Musca and Maria Goundorina, among others, the DO students will play alongside more than two thousand young musicians, the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra and the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra's Vocal Ensemble. They will all meet at the Scandinavium, in Gothenburg, on Tuesday 21 at 15:00
In the days previous to the concert, DO students practice and prepare the pieces, according to their musical level, in different orchestras. A group of DO’s students will be playing in the Advance and Pre Advance Orchestra and the Wind and String Orchestra.
