“Dream Orchestra, a learning model”, the first book on DO, is now available on the website, in the Publications section, digitally and free. Written by Franka Verhagen and Ron Davis Alvarez, and financed by Svenska Postkodstiftelsen, it tells the story of DO, since it started seven years ago.
Musicians who are curious about what it takes to become an inspiring orchestral educator can find in the book “Dream Orchestra, a learning model”, a first introduction to this learning model. Here you can find the step by step of how to start a rehearsal from scratch with young people who had never played an instrument before.
You have free access to the repertoire of that initial stage; to the keys of the DO teacher training program; and 17 exercises and practical advice on how you can begin to approach music training in the youth orchestra in a holistic way.
