Ulrika Henkelman is a singer, pianist, organist and choir conductor, and has been a board member of Dream Orchestra since 2017.

In 1992, Ulrika graduated as a language teacher for grades 4–9 from Uppsala University and then worked in schools for 15 years. During that time, she also taught music, and in 2011 she graduated as a church musician from the University of Gothenburg. She began as a volunteer choir leader in the church at the age of 18 and was also responsible for the music at funerals and weddings.

Since 2013, she has worked as coordinator for the music activities at Betlehemskyrkan. There, she is choir leader for three choirs – two children’s choirs and one adult choir – and is responsible for organising concerts, services and music projects for all ages. As a member of staff at Betlehemskyrkan, Ulrika manages the logistics for all activities connected to Dream Orchestra in the church’s premises and involves DO in collaborative projects with the congregation.
