Between February 11 and 14, 2023, 16 advanced students from the Dream Orchestra will share the music stand with other young musicians from Gothenburg in the new edition of the Sportlovsorkestern, which will take place at the Gothenburg Concert Hall.
While some in the city are on winter break, they chose to participate, for four days, in intense rehearsals to practice pieces by Beethoven, Bizet, Merle and Shostakovich.
The final concert on February 14, at 6:00 p.m., in the main auditorium, will be conducted by maestro Ron Davis Alvarez, artistic director and founder of DO; and Marjolein Vermeeren, conductor and flutist of the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra.
